A little more history
In February 1998, a group of Christians in Honduras formed the Association for a More Just Society (ASJ). It was born from the commitment that has grown over the years working for true development and justice in Honduras. They have witnessed that the efforts made so far by the NGOs and the government at the community level to try to move forward and put aside the underdevelopment in which we find ourselves are not enough. Partly because many times community efforts become insufficient due to being affected by unscrupulous policies, legislation, companies or people, who promote the interests of a few while affecting the vast majority.
